Better coffee mousetrap

I have tried a few different methods for making coffee (standard drip, French press, macchinetta, Pyrex Chemex, Turkish Ibrik), but I am always looking for a better mousetrap. Has anyone tried a vacuum coffee maker? Any other technologies worth trying?
