I was thinking more of an easy way of getting gem blades (without the middleman)... Seems I'll have to abandon the idea of shaving with a gem...:frown:
PS. I looked at the injector blades on your mentioned site- man, are these expensive, almost like mach3!

Send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll mail you a couple of SE blades for you to try in a Gem.
It can't be that there are no other suppliers of SE blades who ship to Europe.
I'm sure that there are other suppliers, and I'm also sure that you'll have no difficulty buying blades from other members of this board on the Buy/Sell page.
Have you tried these people? They're Canadian, I don't know where they ship though.

I guess these blades would do?
D. Single Edge, Gem PTFE Coated
* Stainless Steel, Extra Keen, measures same as #71960. Packed 100 blades in a drawer box.

That's the type of blade I use. They're fabulous. I get about 7 shaves from them with no irritation at all.

Great:w00t:
I guess their injector blades should be more or less the same (meaning of ok quality)?

No idea, I've never used them. But an injector razor is coming up for me to try over the next month or so.

Sure TedPella ships to Europe, emailed them and got very friendly answers.
Waiting now for arrival of my first order of injectors, much cheaper than the Dutch Barbershop.
