I have been reading the site posts but this is my first post. I am looking for an aftershave that is not heavily fragranced or heavy on the face. Is there anything out there that is light and just has a fresh smell to it? I have Mr Taylor fom Taylor's of old bond street and my wife likes it, but just too much for every night use. I also have proraso but she says it's has a musky smell too it. She just likes a fresh smell and I need to keep the wife happy, so any suggestions?

Email Trumpers and ask them to send you samples. You may find what you're looking for there.

In 1 week, my 'summertime' aftershave will be available. totally non greasy, refreshing, lightly cooling, toning, great for the skin. The only scent will come from hydrosols.... I think what I have is exactly what you are looking for.. but I have never tried the baxters.....

Welcome to B&B! In answer to your question, you might laugh, but Gillette has a nice gel aftershave that fits what you're asking for. It's available in just about any drug store or Wal-Mart in the country. You'll find it in a transluscent turquoise colored plastic container that sits on its cap. (There's a white variety for sensitive skin, but I haven't tried that one yet.) It's about $3 or $4 and really is a very nice product. Smells clean but it's not super-strong and the scent doesn't last all day long. Give it a try! If you don't like it, you haven't wasted a lot of money, and there are no shipping charges! I like it and use it a couple of times per week.
