Had a bit of irritation on the neck this morning - possibly from the S-N pass from the first shave.
This morning's shave:
Showered, then put shaving gel (Fusion) on face with hot towel over it. Kept towel in place for 2 minutes.
Shaved 4 passes; N-S, two chevron passes (both starting at the top of my face) and a second N-S pass. Put some of the Razor Defense balm on between passes. Finished off with a warm then cold water rinse, witch hazel and more of the Razor Defense.
Results: Not as close of a shave as the first time. Neck was more tender (I believe there was some lingering irritation from the first shave). I can feel some bumpiness on my left cheek and some irritation on the right side of my neck (I'm left handed).
I may attempt the same thing tomorrow, depending on how my face/neck feels. I'll know better this evening, comfort wise.
