I just shaved with a newly acquired Gillette Sheraton. I wasn't impressed with it at all. It didn't lend to a bad shave it just didn't have any aggressiveness at all. Anyone out there had similar results with these? I really thought being a combed model would make for an aggressive shave. I think my slim adjustable set to 1 was 2x as aggressive.

In what way? You weren't able to bring the handle of the razor as close to your face as you would have liked (which shouldn't be the case with an open comb)? Or was your shave not as close as you've gotten from other razors? I see statements like this here all the time and one poster's definition of "aggressiveness" is different than the next.

While I don't think all razors are equal (I recently wrote in two threads why I believe I'm getting better shaves from a Fat Boy than my 34C), I think most here are attributing poor shaves (especially regarding "aggressiveness" or closeness) to razor design rather than other factors. Are you used to a razor of another weight? A longer or shorter handle? Having a safety bar vs. not having one? These factors are much more likely to affect the quality of your shave as you should be able to have the blade of your choice glide across your face at the angle and pressure you prefer with a Sheraton just as you would your Gillette Slim. The only difference should be your ability to do so which is a matter of mastering technique.
