Is anyone using a EJ chatsworth and consdier it worth the bucks.

Wiki says that the head is the same as the merkur, but I was told by someone that it cut much more aggresively. Any truth to that?

The head is the same as the Merkurs, but the weight and balance is what makes the big difference. The heavy solid piece below the head makes it a little top heavy, and I kind of like that. Many people find that a heavier razor feels more aggressive because of the added heft. I know a lot of people consider it worth the money, but I am not sure I could justify the price they demand for a new one. I bought both of mine broken. :lol:

My favorite DE razor. Worth the bucks? I don't think there is an objective answer. If you want to try one and don't want to pay the EJ asking price, look for one in BST or ebay.
