Edit: oh, and Scott, I am camping at your mailbox hoping to intercept a package you have coming. Heck, a couple packages you have coming!

I had another large bottle in addition to the ones that made it into the pic, but gave it away.

I do have more Clubman though. Yup, I like it.

(Bites fist...) Very nice. Congratulations!

Rodd, you should have seen the case to silver one when it came. It took a good 40 min of polishing it. It was a greyish blue color and I almost thought that was the original color. I'll be on the look out and let you know when I see another.

Packages have been slow. There should be a lot more that is on the way.

Here is today's package.. It was a set of 2 SS that I got cheap. The one on the left I figured would be a loss, the one of the right I thought would clean up OK.

Before cleaning:
30453

After cleaning:
The one on the right cleaned up very well. The one on the left has extensive plating loss. However, it is now gunk free.

Okay ... I have been amiss by not keeping up with acquisition listings. Well, this one deserves a little post I think. I skipped lunch and hit a couple of favorite "hangouts".

Left to right ... Gold 1919 Old Type Standard, '48-'50 Milord, 1965 Aristocrat Adjustable, WWII issue Star, 1960 Tech.

I think it's a Merkur travel razor, It's very similar to what they sell now in a little black pouch. It just says made in Germany.

I'm going to cheat and post this in the current week acquisitions.. since I haven't received. I started B&B w/ a vengeance..going from 0 razors to 28 razors in 3 weeks. My wife was kind enough to suggest the loss of my marbles, so I sold and pif'd till I was down to 5. Even confessed to fellow B&B'r Rodd that I was NOT collecting..

Well.. like a gambler placing his last bet before attending gamblers anonymous.. I hit the bid button today on this puppy on ebay.. I knew i wouldn't win..

It's on it's way now:

and.. as I said in the other thread.. I can quit anytime!

I don't know much about these, except that they were distributed by the Peter J. Michel's company (distributor of C-MON razors among others). No idea who manufactured them. I love the translucent red scales, they look ten times better in person.

Pirates Cove lime and coconut shave pucks. Gotta love the cheap price and cheaper shipping. Added a bit of after market glycerin and they shave pretty decent. They really smell nice.

No pics needed. Pucks is pucks right?

I picked up this bad boy at a Flea Market today for $2. A '56 Super Speed. I asked the guy if he ever comes across many DE razors. He just rolled his eyes and said "No way, you'll cut your face up!'

I kindly gave him the two bucks and was on my way. I'm quite please at how its shining up after a little polishing.
