Restoring a Rolls?

I recently acquired a Rolls Razor on eBay for $10 which is in great shape. The outer case is like new, not a scratch or dent. Honing stone and strop are intact and good condition with some normal wear. even the blade still shows a pretty sharp edge. I would love to put this into shaving shape and give it a try. I an clean the metal parts I think easily enough, putting them all into a bath and following with alcohol and lube on the moving parts. But how do I clean and sanitize the stone, and especially the leather strop without damaging them? I can remove the strop and turn it upside down. But is it reversible? The opposite side looks different from the top, more like cork?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
