Hi folks,

I came across a grooming set today at an antique mall, came in a leather zippered case, had a round mirror inside, what looks like a Gillette tech, a couple "King Gillette" blades, and some grooming tools like tweezers and whatnot. The case was not rectangular, it was rounded on one end to accommodate the mirror. It looked really cool, complete, and in good condition, but I'm not really into collecting this stuff, just use it. I just wonder if you guys know what I might have found and if it's worth picking up and reselling it here. The asking price was around $25 I think but the mall had a sale going for 15% or 20% depending upon the booth. I didn't buy it but can return to pick it up.

I did pick up a couple Fat Boys complete with case and original blades, one with the original flier and in pretty pristine shape, and a black handle super speed, for quite a decent price. I may post my first for sale thread soon.

Thats what everybody says when they first get into DE shaving

I'm sure people around here would enjoy seeing pictures of your finds!

I am not a collector either, just have 6 or so safety and 3 straights. But that price does not sound that bad to me.
