Leaving a Fatboy Open

I was getting ready yesterday and was off my normal routine. I had a golf outing and was distracted, I only play a couple times a year now and was thinking about the upcoming day. As I started to shave I noticed that the shave seemed overly aggresive, I usually would have stopped but continued for the first pass . After noticing a couple small nicks ,I came back to reality and tightened down to the correct exposure. The only comparison is a progress opened all the way up or a very sharp straight. I was fortunate not to take the side of my face off, but one positive is that just one more pass was needed. I now have decided to store my Fat Boy in the open position so this doesn't happen again. :blushing:

Did that with my Slim a few days ago with a fresh Feather

Was thinking, I don't remember Feather blades being this aggressive

I have a tendency to "lose my place" on the adjustables when I clean them. Had a couple of ouch moments, now I always check before shaving where it's dialed.
