I recently picked up a bar of Toms of Maine lemongrass soap much to the apparent enthusiasm of my girlfriend who, it turns out, is a closet lemmongrass junkie.

She asked me the other day if I knew of any men's colognes that had lemongrass as a focus for the scent. Yep, I'm getting the hint hint hint.

Any ideas?

I don't think there is a pure lemongrass scent out there, but a couple of thoughts:

Woods of Windsor has Lemongrass. According to basenotes -

Top Notes
Lemon, Verbena, Lemongrass, Orange, Bergamot,

Middle Notes
Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Neroli,

Base Notes
Woody

Also, I find Provence Sante' Verlaine has a very strong lemony/floral scent that I like very much.

By the way Scotto, my new Scent Aquisition Disorder curses you for pointing me indirectly towards basenotes.com.... ;)

I placed a sample order for the following:

Czech & Speake No. 88
Czech & Speake Frankincense & Myrrh

Penhaligon’s Hammam Bouque
Penhaligon’s LP No. 9 for Men

Floris Summer Limes
Floris JF

I'm looking forward to trying the No. 88 and the Bouque. I'll have to get around to the two you pointed out in short order.

Thank you for the reply! :)

Scotto,

I got the C&S F&M from Scentemental on basenotes.com. He has a large list of samples to choose from. I'll let you know though when my sample arrives. :)
