I saw that when looking for another one, and I caught the yawn. I've also caught yawns from someone typing ::yawn:: online.

I dont beleive I have but it happens in real life all the time. Its amazing how much we are in tune to what others are feeling.
But maybe you are alil to intune. Dont get all soft on me and start talking about your feelings!

I hope you're serious, because I caught a yawn from reading your reply in my inbox. This is crazy.

I was serious. As soon as I read the word 'yawn' it just came out of me. Even typing it just coaxed one out. I have to avoid this thread.

Ahh..so that's what happened. That was listed when I clicked on "New Posts" but when I clicked on it it would not allow me access. Now I know why.

That's a good question. I didn't think it was out of line at all.
Anyone see what the results were at the end?

They've done studies on "catching yawns" I'm very prone to it. If I recall correctly about 20% of the population is very succeptible to "catching yawns" and those who do are always top scorers on empathy tests where as those who don't score lower on average.
Some are more prone than other. I have yawned 5 times while typing this. It's borderline crippling, my girlfriend will sometimes take advantage of this if I've annoyed her in any way and start mock yawning and saying yawn repeatedly to put me out of comission. (7 times)

Maybe this qualifies for some government grant money to conduct a study. However, I think the paperwork would just make me .

I must admit, I've NEVER heard of a yawning Norwegian. That is weird.

Word has it that it was about 12-1, I'm assuming porcelains-water, but I know there was 1 stall in there, so maybe there were no waters. Either way, it's surprising to me, based on what I hear in the men's room.

I have always been a little 'off kilter'. I guess that explains why I have yarned 8 times while reading this thread.
Haven't yawned once reading this.
Oh damn.
