Nice shave this morning.

On Sunday, I used a combination of:

2 - Col Conk Bay Rums mixed with 1 - Col. Conk Lime Hard soap (melted together). Got this idea from post by Dr. Moss.

Also used my new Schick Injector from Mr. Shoeshineboy.

A great shave as well.

Austin - How does that T&H WI Limes EDT treat you? Does it have decent lasting power for a lime scent?

Joel, T&H WI Limes is my favorite lime scent. I like it better than Trumper Lime. Unfortunately, on my person, it only lasts about 4 hours. I will keep buying it though.

Thanks to Ron turning me onto a C&E store in Oklahoma City, Nomad is now one of my favorites also. The shave cream is very good, although I noticed it has a much thicker consistency than the 3 Ts. When I got it home, the lid was loose, but it still had the plastic sealer inside the tub so I'm guessing that's the way it's suposed to be. It produced a very nice lather for my 4 passes. I loved the AS balm! Seemed to do a great job, not too oily. The cologne is great, but doesn't hang around as long as my Trumper's sandalwood. Looks like about 4 to 6 hours is all it's good for on me. Two thumbs up!!

Today was potpourri shave day.
I decided to let my dear friend Mr. Campbell handle lather duty.
Stubble abatement was performed with my trusty Merkur Vision.
Routine skin care involved some ordinary witch hazel (Dickinson's in bulk from Costco), and two delighftfully refreshing spritzes of QED's Da Vinci Water.
To finish: A dab of lime from the limeys, and a touch of B&B cologne (also from QED).

For those who don't know, Santal and Endymion are VERY close cousins

I wish you folks could have seen how much lather I had from the QED soap this morning. It was really obscene - all joking aside, I probably could have shaved everyone who posts in the SOTD with some to spare. Glorious excess!

On a less pleasant note, does anyone know if the Floris balm contains lanolin? I noticed an unpleasant burning sensation this morning that I haven't felt since trying the T&H balm, which has lanolin.

Played racquetball before work this morning so I had to shower/shave in the locker room, not a great shave since I don't have my mirror in the shower. And yes, I tote all of my junk to the gym and locker room.

Yes I am. Ever since I started doing this I seem to be getting better shaves and my skin has never looked better. This could be in combination with my technique getting better (Started Traditional Wet Shaving in May)

At some point I am going to see if by removing this from my routine if it makes a difference. I have been hesitant to do so since things have gotten so good.

My goodness boboakalfb! You must be living in heaven.. If you get a chance at the L'Occitane store, see if you can sniff the Men's edT of Eau des 4 Voleurs and Eau du Baudian. Tell me what I am missing. I'd rape and maim (well almost) to get samples of those two.. I called L'Os corporate offices in NJ asking to purchase samples to no avail. I had a fantastic shave with Taylor's Lavender today. First time I have used it since purchasing it weeks ago. When I first received it I really did not like the scent and even thought about trading it off. However, for some reason it called out to me this morning and I answered. I actually started liking the scent (my wife liked it as well) and the shave was top shelf. I am really glad I kept it now!

Finished it off with Da Vinci Water, Proraso Aftershave Cream, and Trumper's Wild Fern.
