In another post I was looking for wooden bowls with lids for shave soap and came across this

http://www.egentlemen.com/brproductAK1869-WE004_13000B/acca-kappa-1869-almond-shave-soap-and-wenge-wood-shaving-bowl.aspx:crazy:

Is it the wood that make it expensive or does the soap have something extra extra special

Would love to know if anyone has tried this

I don't know if it's the wood bowl or the soap, but for a hundred bucks you can probably get better than 20 pucks of HBS shave soap, shipped.

The bowl is what makes it so expensive. Comes form one piece of wood, cant remember what kind.
