Because if the world was going down the tubes so badly that we had arrived at the point where I could only buy one more box of cigars EVER, I would want to spend those end-times with good friends, smoking cigars that even the noobiest of noobs could understand and appreciate and which I would not mind sharing. The PSD4 has always been that kind of stick for me and my friends.

I have tried many cigars, and I have to say that if I had to choose one last box, it would have to be Special Blends by Alec Bradley.
To this day still my favorite smoke. It looks, feels and tastes like a $10+ cigar, but it's only $3 / stick.
They blend of the cigar was created by Henrik Kelner who was Davidoff's master blender...

Cuaba's. Any size/model - they're all amazing. I've had the best from all the other major brands - but hands down the Cuaba's stand out as consistently smooth, robust, complex, malty, and just plumb relaxing. Cuaba's go well on their own, with desserts/foods, cognac, whisk(e)y, brandy - you name it - a Cuaba will make everything right with the world, at least during/briefly after enjoying it.
I've never given a Cuaba to someone who didn't LOVE it. Even die hard, top of the line Cohiba fans *cough* NICK *cough* have succumbed to the lovely temptress that is the Cuaba.
I can no longer smoke dominicans (of ANY brand/style/type) and most other Cuban brands - as they just don't do much for me.

WOW!
When ever someone says that Cubans are the best I always say to them "never underestimate the power of a Dominican".
But you foiled my plan...
I guess the Cubans I smoked were lousy (yes they were real) but I did buy them in Japan, Hong Kong, etc. no where near Cuba.
That being said, Romeo y Julieta (Dominican) Reserve Maduro would be my choice. I have a feeling I am a minority...

Yeah, I know ... there are lots of more exotic and expensive sticks out there, but if I were to choose one for my LAST box, this would be it. (One box wouldn't be enough, of course. Maybe a truckload.)
Its been one of my favorite smokes for years and years ... I've probably put away hundreds of these, and can't remember ever having a single one that wasn't totally enjoyable.
Its the closest thing I've found to an all-day, every-day 24/7/365 cigar. I never get tired of them. I've had them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks.
The flavor is balanced and universal and seems to go with everything. You can smoke it after steak, lobster, or turkey. You can smoke it before sushi. You can smoke it while munching on potato-chips or jelly-beans.
Whether you're drinking beer, bourbon, scotch, vodka, wine, Gatorade, iced-tea or plain water, this cigar tastes great with all of them.
Its mild enough for beginners to handle easily, and yet I don't know of any veteran cigar smokers that would turn it down if offered one.
Its affordable enough that you can smoke several a day, yet its got enough class and elegance that it fits in well at weddings and other fancy occasions.
And remember, one of the criteria for this thread is that the box needs to readily available, and these fit the bill. Speaking of bills, they're still under $5 each last time I looked.

Next time you have the chance, try a Cuban Romeo y Julieta. They're not as strong as some of the other Cubans.
But...
If you like a good full bodied Cuban but live in the US, try a La Gloria Cubana. It may change your mind about Dominicans. Lots of brands claim to be just as good as a real Cuban but these do live up to the hype. Good flavor, well made and reasonable price.

THE SIGLO XXI HUMIDOR
To celebrate the coming of the new Millennium, the Corporacion Habanos s.a. are producing a limited edition of 21 numbered, commemorative Humidors 20 of which will be offred for sale.
Designed by Sr. Orlando Corzo of Gerencia Ritos in Havana and crafted totally by hand from pure cedarwood by skilled cabinet makers, each of these magnificent humidors contains 2000 cigars kept in perfect condition by a new humidifying system delivering cool, moist air. The top 20 Habanos brands are represented in the Humidor and the selection for each brand includes at least one rare size, not on the market at present, some of which have not been made for many years.
For example the Partagas Salom6n N' 2 (56 x 172.50), the Bolivar Gold Medal (42 x 165) the Cohiba Gran Corona (47 x 235) and the Punch Diademas Extra (53 x 233) as well as the three special sizes from the Reserva del Milenio:
The Cohiba Piramide, the Montecristo Robusto and the Cuaba Distinguidos.
Brands: Cohiba, Trinidad, Vegas Robaina, Montecristo, Cuaba, Romeo y Julieta, Partagas, Punch, Hoyo de Monterrey, Bolivar, La Gloria Cubana, H.Upmann, Rey del Mundo, Saint Luis Rey, Sancho Panza, Rafael Gonzalez, Ram6n Allones, Por Larranaga, Flor de Cano and Quintero.
