I need some help. I've been using Art of Shaving Sandlewood which is a great cream but the sent really heavy:confused:, I think this would be a great winter cream? I'm looking to try a TOB cream but want something really fresh and clean smelling for the summer but can't really get to a shop to smell every tub? Can anyone recommend the best summer smelling cream in the range? Thank you

Of the Taylors creams I have I find I use Mr Taylors and Avocado more in the summer, whereas I dont use the Almond at all.

Avocado is the safe bet.
St. James and Shaving Shop are pretty good fresh scents, sort of oceanic fragrances. Mr. Taylor's is kind of like this too, although it has a stronger note of bitter herb.

For a lighter scent in the TOBS range, there are a few that come to mind: Avocado, Eton College, Rose, St. James, and Shaving Shop. All of those are nice lighter fragrances. Mr. Taylor is my favorite, but it, to my nose, is a heavier, warmer fragrance. St. James is kind of a maritime fragrance (if that is a category) very similar to scents like Cool Water, or T&H Trafalgar. After Mr. Taylor, Rose is my next favorite. I didn't much care for the scents of the Eton College or Avocado, but many do, and they are nice and light. Shaving Shop smelled, to me, like a lighter Mr. Taylor, so it might be more suited to warmer times of the year than Mr. Taylor.

I'm not a fan of the scent of St. James, but a lot of people love it. It would fall into the fresh and clean kind of scent you may want. My favorites in the TOBS range are Mr. Taylor's and Rose. Lavender was pretty good too if you like that. I didn't care much for Shaving Shop, St. James, and their version of Sandalwood.

The avocado fits exactly what you are asking for. It is not like smearing guacamole over your face, as the name may lead you to believe :001_rolle

Avocado, or consider the lemon-lime!

Having tried them all, I'd suggest Avocado or Eton College. Avocado is the better performer. YMMV.

Avocado is a really fresh, kind of floral scent

St. james is very very nice as well

Lemon Lime
ST James
Almond

Those are my picks, and I've pretty much tried all the TOBS.
