No, it's not the latest football game. I was in a mood to take some pics and took one of my shaving bushes. Here 'tis:

The little one in the foreground is my first brush, a Simpson 'Special', the rest are; left to right:
My ebony Edwin Jager, Simpson Harvard # 4 and my wife's burl Edwin Jager. The Harvard #4 is my most used brush...my fave so far.

Beautiful brushes Cliff and Peter!
Peter I must say that I'm much more interested in the bowl you are using to display your brushes. What can you tell me about it?
Ron and Peter: I just know you're using Dutch to curse at the rest of us. :001_tt2:

Sorry, it's me with the burl bowl. I recently picked it up while vacationing in the Berkshires. The artist, who's name I can't remember now (I'll ask SWMBO) uses downed trees and trees which are spalted (rotten), he turns the trunks and makes bowls leaving the natural bark on for contrast.
=========
Found name : The Bowl artist/woodworker is Kenneth Dubay, we bought the bowl at a Lennox MA gallery. His work is well known, a local casino owning Indian tribe has given his bowls to seven Governors as gifts. Also noticed many burl bowls on web searches.
