What is your real name?
baald

What are your nicknames/aliases?
baald

Where do you live?
SF Bay Area, California, USA

What is your age (or) generation?
year of the monkey, four cycles ago

What are you in the real world?
software/www

What is your favorite shave setup?
i'm such a noob i don't have one to speak of! i just ordered the following off of forumites and ebay: '61 fatboy; 56 SS B3; a pair of vintage schick injectors (one brass/bakelite, one silver/plastic). still deciding on a brush, but am thinking a superior or thomas anthony.

having said that, i AM a major goop-whore. i pore over the bliss and sephora catalogs when they come in and have as much face crap as my wife. as well as some nice fashion-house type colognes (lots of commes de garcons. nino cerruti original EDT in the "bubble" bottle is one of my faves, and i like gucci rush b/c it smells like sex in a acatholic church). i do take to the more gentlemanly stuff as well, though, and look forward to buying some of it.

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
in line with some of my olfactory interests, i've been getting into aromatherapy and EO's.

my main vices though are guitars and amps, and hi-end audio equipment (used to be employed in the industry and have had a passion for sound since i's a wee one). recently bought my first custom guitar (took a year to build), so getting a cstom brush should be cake.

i also do some woodworking and design. buil he vanity in our bathroom (i'll show it when i get my razors, so it won' be so off-topic), as well as our headboard and mantle (very nakashima-like).

What else should the members of B&B know about you?
just had our first baby! 2 weeks old, his name is Calder. And unlike myself, who didn't get taught to shave but figured it out himself with no problem since there were foam cans and cartridge razors around the house, i look forward to teaching Cal to shave (if i can figger it out myself first).
