Good evening gentlemen,

Had a poke around the local charity and junk shops after work today and came accross a nice little set for the princely sum of £8 and was wondering if anyone could give me a little more info on it. From my research on here I have worked out it is an English Gillette Tech but there are no other markings than Gillette on the top and Made in England on the guard plate.

Now, onto the pictures (my apologies in advance if any are a little unclear, I can try and get more if anyone needs a closer look):

That looks like your standard british tech. To me it looks like the aluminium verson, if it feels light it most certainly is alu. Nice Find!!

Welcome on B&B! Looks like a brit. Tech from the 50s or 60s.

Thanks guys,

It most certainly does have an Aluminium handle, very nicely cut too.

If it is of the same vintage as the rest of the set then I would probably go for the 60s as a manufacturing time as the brush has plastic bristles rather than natural.
