There is a new antique store that just opened near my home. On a whim, I stopped by today.

I found this razor. It was dirty and it was rusty but I picked it up anyway and brought it home. The question is: what is it?

I am, by far, not an expert...believe me! It sort of looks like a Milord but all the pics I've seen of them, none have the black tip on the end. There is a production date of X2. Any help? Even if it's not that great of a razor (as far as a good, close shave) I only paid $3.00 for it.

Thanks in advance for your help! Please excuse the poor pics.

I am pretty sure it is a black tip super speed.

1952 black tip steel handle Super Speed, see if a magnet stick to the handle. Nice piece and the missing end caps won't affect the shave at all.

Cool! Thanks guys! There are so many different razors out there and I have seen a few of them in pictures. The problem was, I have only seen several in real life.

Gotta love these forums where everyone is so friendly and helpful. :thumbup1::biggrin:
