Inspired by this (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=47972) thread, I placed an order at My Time Bath & Body (http://www.mytimebathandbody.com/) for some tallow based shave cream. I got a few different scents and have now had the chance to use each a couple of times. All have provided fantastic shaves and all of them smell wonderfully. The Clary Sage, unfortunately, gives an intense burning feeling when I lather up with it. I'm sure it is just my own skin chemistry, because the other creams have equally heavy scents and give me no burn whatsoever.
Anyway, if you love Sage (think Pre de Provence), this is the cream for you! It has been used once and is a hefty 5 ounces (same tub as QED soap).
I've been in contact with Jean from mytimebathandbody.com and she says that this cream is scented with FO and may cause a similar reaction to those with sensitive skin. If your skin is not on the sensitive side and you're looking to try out a truly wonderful product, PM me and I'll send the Clary Sage cream to you for FREE!
