Thanks to Vinny for the Penhaligons (currently testing Opus on my left side, Endymion on my right - no idea which I prefer yet!), Devin for the NEW and Martin for the PJ2.

This is a very exciting purchase. I forgot to pack some AS for my weekend away. Trudged to the local CVS and bought some Skin Bracer by....Mennen. It is serviceable at best but it did do the trick.

I found these two at my local antique mall. I've never shaved with these single-edged razors before, but they looked in such pretty condition, I had to snatch them up. I passed up a nice pocket edition in a beautiful gold-colored metal case. It still had the used blade case, and looked nice, but there was some heavy wear on the head, and the seller wanted $95. He wasn't there to haggle, so I let it go. I also passed up a flare-tip SS that had an endcap missing. There was no price tag, and I didn't have the time for them to contact the seller.

From areler67 in Luxembourg (Thank you kind Sir) comes a delicious near mint Made in England (Light) HD Rocket in Aluminum. LOVE it! This is an excellent copy of the first Rocket I ever bought from Cigar Dan ( and subsequently sold on the BST). too late to shave with it today but it will be used tomorrow!

Mugs and razors this week. The Old Spice on the right is a coffee cup. Most folks in shops don't know the difference between a coffee cup and a shave mug. Just stick a old brush in it and call it a shaving mug. Haven't cleaned the razors yet this is how I found them. Happy Hunting

Arrived in the post yesterday - it's been a long time coming and I was getting anxious in case it had gone astray. It cost me £20 which I think is probably OK :001_smile
It doesn't look like it's been used - but it will be!

I didn't know the shaving shack before. Thanks for the info. I ordered my 39c from executive shaving and paid 5 GBP more there. Had to order a 4000/8000 hone so combined the shipping, but the free blades are interesting too...

I've only used them once before for some derby blades (Free P+P on the blades too)
the guy who runs it posts frequently on here thats how I noticed it, he usually does discount vouchers for various products in the shopping forum, and you don't have to chose the blades I think it's a choice between shampoo and the blades if you spend 9.99 or more on anything.

My sweetheart truly supports my shaving addictions. She absconded with my Burham and had it mounted in a display for a Fathers Day gift.
I like it. Thought you might enjoy seeing a nicely displayed vintage razor as well.

I'm not sure who made the prototype, only that Tryphon had a brush a day sale going on last year , best I remember I paid 35.00 for this one. There are no markings on it to give away the manufacturer. The Shavemac is the pure badger, rather stiff, but a nice change from my softer brushes.
This came in Saturdays mail, was too busy re-arranging furniture to get it posted or make my own pic, this was the pic from srp's buy sell trade thread.
It's an "Expert Barber 400" distributed by T. Noonan & Sons Co. Boston Mass.
