:001_smileFor Free...Complete starter kit.
Preference is that this starter kit goes to a young military member or young college student (Air Force, UNC Tarheel, or UNL Cornhusker folks preferred:wink:) but this is not a requirement.
Caveat is that you should just be starting out and looking for some kit, because you don't have any yet (we're on the honor system here).
Should also have between 15 and 20 posts.
Here is what you get
1 NIB C.O. Bigelow
1 used 3-4x Tabac soap refill
1 unopened pack of derby and Feather Blades (two packs total)
1 Col Conk pure badger brush (used but clean)
1 Shaving mug
1 Gillette Super speed (not a looker by any means, but a dependable shaver)
Shipping is included.
Why? Just because:
It's Sunday
June 1st
Beautiful day outside
Haven't noticed any starter kit PIFs for a while (not to say there haven't been any)

What a great offer, someone should snap this up. By the way, did I mention I'm only just starting out...[quickly hiding all shaving stuff]...

What a gent. I've got some kit now (and more on the way!), but this sort of offer is exactly the reason why this forum is head and shoulders above all the others... Hopefully one day I'll have enough stuff to start handing it out!= :w00t:

Wow, i would love this.
I am 15, and intersted in dumping my Mach3, and getting into proper shaving, and maybe collecting razors too in the future. I was going to buy a couple of razors, but i couldnt afford to buy the brush, bowl and soap and cream :frown: So i have no kit yet.
I am 15, and still at school, not college, but even younger, so would value this package even more as i cant really afford all this posh stuff, and this would be a great introduction for me :w00t:
I have been lurking the forum for a while now, trying to decide what to get, although i only registered a 2 days ago.
Since signing up i have become even more interested. I have decided to maybe buy my disabled father a DE for fathers day, i am sure he will enjoy it. Maybe we will be able to try stuff together. But even if i get him one, i wont have one yet, let alone the other gear included, so i would love this kit.
I would really appreciate this setup for myself to use, and i promise to pay it foward.
I am in the UK, if the shipping is too much, i can contribute/pay it, up to you of course.
I would really enjoy this kit
Regards,
Matt :001_smile

Pretty please?
I would really appreciate this if i can get it. Would be a fantastic introduction to real shaving, i have never used a real razor before, and would love to use one daily!
And i promise to pay it foward

OK...Baines gets it! While not meeting my preference, he meets the intent of the PIF. Baines also mentioned his intent to pay it forward when he is able and that is ultimately what we all like to see.
Baines...PM me your address and I'll get it shipped out next week. Also, while you are a Brit, by accepting this you agree to cheer for Nebraska football, Tarheel basketball, and everything Air Force now and forever:biggrin:

Sure is!
Just did a GCSE exam today, after working hard with homework and revision for days, now i have (not so good) school trip tomorrow, but hey, its a day off, and trips are rare.
Mentally tired, but not physically, so to unwind i went for a nice long ride, then a short trail ride....on mums bike haha. Need to get mine fixed up!
Feels like a Friday!
Looking foward to it arriving!
