I bought a Valet auto strop today and saw that it was made in England. Is this common? All of the other ones I ever saw were made in USA.

I have one that was made in Canada, so they evidently were 'worldwide'. Which model is yours? If it is the early one without any nubs sticking up to secure the blade you can use a Gem single edged blade by taking off the metal cap on the top of the blade.
