That is a Valet in the case.
Chris how do you keep finding red tip rockets? I am looking forward to trying to fix the one in the mail. Today I got a red tip case to go with my current (american) red tip, with another no date code SS in the case.
I have never seen the stainless blue blades, isn't that an oxymoron?

That is one sweet razor!
Here is what I found today. Got the Musgo while I was waiting for my wife to have lunch with her on her break and then went to a couple antique shops. I saw many razors, but most were in bad shape and then I found this one! It is no red tipped rocket, but new to my collection!

I've gotten all of mine from Australia, just lucky I guess. I may open and try out some of the Stainless Blue's. If they are stainless they should still be fine to shave with.
Nice Ranger Tech!
Yes, very nice RT!

Tony Miller 4-side paddle strop. ordered friday arrived tuesday, all the way cross country even with memorial day holiday great delivery. Just applied the paste, now the long 2 days to wait for it to dry before I can use it:001_rolle.

High School Graduation Weekend for me.
Of course, shaving items were on top of the list. (Who needs a computer in college when you have a 2 band Polo 8?)
From my parents I will hopefully receive:
2 band Polo 8 in super
Kentucky Scuttle, Valobra stick, Booster's Polar Ice
Penhaligon's Blenheim and Floris Elite
My girlfriend bought me some Trumpers Violet soap in a wooden bowl.
And some of the cash will be going to some Musgo A/S and maybe a Straight and Strop (and maybe a laptop)
I'll post pics when they all have arrived.

The ship came in for me on Monday, 3 packages.
From a Trade:
1 tub Tryphon Barbershop soap
1 tub Tryphon Limes shave cream
From a purchase:
1 Schick M model adjustable injector
From an ebay seller:
4 8oz bottles of Royall Aftershaves
Lyme
Mandarin
Muske
Spyce
The Muske is much better than expected.
Congratz!
I only wish Charles would offer the 38-style handles in more knot sizes
No doubt! My ideal brush would have been the a (mythical) 3822. I damn near ordered the 3722, but the handle on the 38 was sooooo much more to my liking.

Thanks to James (texcattlerancher) and my beloved New York Football Giants I was gifted a new tube of Musgo last night. It sure was nice to win the Super Bowl. Who needs a diamond encrusted ring when Musgo is available?

You always seem to find them in groups of 3! I am pretty sure I have every antique store near by cleared out, and I rarely have found more than 1. Nice finds!

I also looked through a big bag of pins he had, found a couple neat ones, then I found a Judas Priest one that had a logo of a hand holding a double edge blade, then another, well, anyway, I bought all 6 of them. I will post pictures when I get my camera back.

I found a wonderful little shop downtown yesterday (for anybody in Columbus, check out Luxe de Vie in the Short North, 720 N. High St.) that carried Musgo Real products, Provence Sante products, Jack Black products, Bond No. 9, and a very large selection of Creed fragrances for men and women.
I picked up a new tube of Musgo Real shave cream and a bottle of the Aqua de Colonia #2 Oakmoss fragrance. I also got some Creed samples (Green Irish Tweed and Silver Mountain Water).

I finally, after decades of cooking, have a decent pair of knives. The proper tools to do what I've been struggling with for years! I also got a nice little lockback folder VG-10 with Titanium scales that should be the perfect pocket knife.
A Shun paring knife and an ultra slim A.G. Russell Titanium locker.

Yesterday I went to the neighborhood grocer to pick up a few items. I usually swing by the hygiene aisle because they carry a good deal of old-time products that I just haven't found anywhere else. For example, this is where I buy my Florida Water- priced with a felt-tip marker at $3.50. I spied a little bottle of Sanbourn's Orange Blossom Cologne. It is a light splash that although intended for the ladies (and in fact my SWMBO took command of my bottle) I will go back to pick one up for me. For $2.98 it can hardly be beat!

I love Neroli water... granpa always sprayed himself with that to refresh his visage.
