I now understand what everyone is talking about when they talk about a brush that's "dense and firm, but soft at the tips." Both of my Savile Row brushes (3124 and 3330) are, to me, the definition of luxury -- not floppy at all, but soft and decadent. But this Shavemac pre-2005 hair brush has the same feel at the tips, but a firmer, stronger hair shaft or something.... I can actually feel the scrubbier nature of the bristles while applying each pass. It's not stiff and unforgiving (like a boar brush or a Pure badger)... but rather firm, and ultra-soft at the tips. Impressive!

Au contraire!! I love the Norma Kamali Jazmín EDP.

I am a stalwart fancier of diffusion and longevity in my scents. I especially like it when the aroma of my shaving soap/cream is mirrored and amplified by my after-scent.

QED Jasmine shaving soap and Norma Kamali Jazmín EDP are such a pair (as are QED Vetiver shaving soap and Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Route du Vetiver EDT).

The only thing better than either of them is Cyril R. Salter French Vetiver shaving cream and Norma Kamali Jazmín EDP.
