Noob here, just picked up a Slim Adjustable, a blade sample pack, and other necessary accouterments, ready to rock the DE. Lurked on the forums for a while and picked up some great advice, thanks guys!

Hi Pescatore!

You can introduce with a MP3 for sig: "Piscatore 'e Pusilleco", wonderful neapolitan song.

Have good shaves!!

Welcome fellow fisherman. Did you tie that one yourself?? Kinda looks like like a quilled mayfly. A floater for sure:wink:

Taker er' slow with that adjustable. Stick with the same type of blade and the same setting for at least a week at a time until you get your technique down. Then you can start mixing it up a bit. A derby or crystal should do fine.

Thanks everyone. For those asking, the avatar is a cinnamon sedge caddis, I didn't tie it. I do tie my own saltwater flies, maybe I'll use one of those as my avatar.

Just a few more days until I start fly fishing for stripers on the MA coast!
