Similar to Nivea sensitive, except:

1. no weird sticky film.
2. an awesome, clean, nautical scent.

This is seriously the best post shave I've ever had:biggrin:

YMMV

I was not impressed with the Neutro

I'll have to hear some more reviews before I check it out. I think its available at Wal Mart though so its probably not too pricey.

This is what you're thinking, right?

I just wanted to clarify to make sure I'm not talking about some other formulation.

Yep it's the one.

Ok maybe I overreacted with my

It's not bad, but I prefer Nivea and L'Oreal

I've used the Neutrogena ASB for years. The one with SPF 15 is worlds better than the standard one. Although you get less weight for a dollar or two more, it's well worth it. And besides, Dermatologists recommend SPF 15 on your face to prevent premature aging. Currently, I'm using the Lo'Real ASB SPF 15 and I can't really get into it. Also for a neutrogena face wash, the white scrub is worlds better than the black standard. Hope this helps you Wal-Mart shoppers. Tip: while your at Wal-Mart you can pick up a styptic pen for under a $1.

I'm in Indiana. I'd probably get cancer from all of that unnecessary sunscreen juice.

I only really need sunscreen about 10 times per year.

Now that summer's coming, I'll pick up a new container of the Neutrogena SPF 15 "post shave" lotion. I think overall I like the Nivea better, but having the SPF 15 is a big plus.

I agree with Mason here. I like both Nivea and Neutrogena, but like the idea of some SPF protection. I'll grab it most often in summer, or even winter when I know I'll be outdoors alot.

I'm a just returning to DE shaving after a 30 year absence. Today was my 2nd shave with my brand new Merkur Long Classic so my experience is definitely limited. I was at Walmart today and went and looked at the shaving supplies to see what they had of use to a DE shaver. I picked up a tube of the Neutrogena ASB and white preshave scrub. I really liked both of them and had a much better shave using them. I can't be sure how much difference they made themselves since it was also my first shave using my new Vulfix Mayfair brush and Classic shaving soap. My first shave I washed with plain Neutrogena soap and shaved with canned Barbasol.

By the way, it's reviewed elsewhere, but I was not too impressed with the classic soap. I whipped it until my arm was sore and still got a thin watery short lived lather. Maybe it's partially my technique. I'll know soon enough since I also have some Mama Bear soap in the mail.

Congrats. As for me, my grandfather died of skin cancer so I'd rather be on the safe side and use SPF.
