Okay wait. Before I offer my nothing, I need to know the condition of this nothing. Is there any brassing or pitting on the nothing that's being offered. What is the date code of this nothing? Is it mint? Is it NOS? I won't trade my nothing for just any old nothing. Is this nothing or is it nothin' or nuthin', or could it be the holy grail of nothing, the exceptionally rare "Gnut'n" (the "G" is silent)?

Gnut'n was made in olden times by Gnomes that lived in beer barrels. These gnomes were known as "Gowschbotato Gnomes." They produced 2 products: the low end gnut'n and the stuff of kings, "gnut'n whatsoever." While it is generally accepted that these gnomes disappeared many, many years ago, some theorize that they still exist today. These modern day gnomes tend to be larger than their ancestors and no longer live in beer barrels (but they probably would if they could). They can be seen on occasion sitting on sofas, drinking beer, watching TV and endeavoring to produce gnut'n whatsoever. The addition of TV is said to produce gnut'n whatsoever of a very high quality. These modern gnomes are sometimes still called Gowschbotatos in the old country. The modern interpretation is Couchpotatos.

Ah, so much to do about nuthin'! And to answer your question... yes, I do have entirely too much time on my hands.

I am reminded of my 12th birthday, when I really wanted lasagna for dinner, but my dad had already bought steaks. Now, we could have just had steaks and I'd suffer through while everyone else enjoyed their meal, although it was my birthday. To be fair, my parents had spent most of the day taking me golfing at the local pitch & put, and then Dad and I went off to our favourite lake for a bit of fishing. That was a great lake for fishing since it was routinely stocked with rainbow trout, and there was plenty of food for them so they got nice and big. We were both partial to spin-casting then, although in later years I've become much more interested in fly fishing, and you probably wouldn't catch me dead spin-casting anymore. I really got into flyfishing in my late 20s, when I moved to a small town to work for this one particular fellow who happened also to be into fly fishing, and I think he hoped that if I really enjoyed the local outdoors I'd be more likely to stick around there long-term, as that town had a real problem in retaining professionals. Unfortunately, I didn't stay long, and ended up moving south to a much larger town, although I still go back there from time to time for work. In fact, over this past winter, on one drive there in the evening I saw about 7 moose on the road, including one that almost trotted right over into me doing 60 mph down the highway.
