First shave with a fatboy. Loved it. The Ingrams was good too, had a very smooth comfortable shave. But I shaved yesterday late afternoon so didn't have my normal stubble!

The Ingrams and K-BLM woke me right up. K-BLM is potent stuff.

I've been comparing Proraso/VDH and Proraso/Williams superlathers.

I've come to the conclusion, that while the Proraso/Williams combination generates a slightly higher volume of lather, the quality of the lather is better with the VDH Deluxe. It's just slicker and I find that I can get a closer shave without irritation.

I have been using my Coates shaving cream quite a bit recently just so I can use up the smallest containers of cream that I have. Coates is good, but it doesn't make me want to spend $30-$40 for a tub. I am also really liking the Red Personnas. I am going to use derbys for a week or two to see if I am going to just stick with the Red Personnas. If so, I am going to have quite a few derbys for sale/trade in a few weeks.

Quick 2 pass, WTG then ATG as I was running late. Passable but in no way enjoyable. I soaked my brush in the mug with the soap while I showered, shook out the excess water and pumped 2 pumps of the KMF into the center of the brush. If I am rushed again I will only use one pump. It took more time to rinse out the excess lather than it took to generate the lather.

My first shave with a slant. Not too bad at all, very smooth. Thought it was the best shave ever until I went ATG a little too much and 4 or 5 weepers sprouted up instantly. All ok 20 min later. Will try again, I liked it but it does require full attention!

During the last few weeks, I've had weepers after every shave that would close when I applied alum, but would open again when I applied an after shave. I quit my use of after shave today: a perfect shave as a result!
