I am getting the urge for a new brush. I like the medium density, borderline floppy-ness of most EJ brushes. So, I'm leaning toward another one of them. I have my eye on a Chatsworth "Light Horn" in medium best (picture below from the English Shaving Co site). The dimensions of the knot are similar to their "regular" medium best, AKA the C&E BBB. Both have a 21mm knot size; the Chatsworth has a slightly longer loft of 55mm vs. 53mm.

Has anybody tried a Chatsworth brush lately??

Norm,
Here is a link to a Chatsworth Brush Robert (biomesh) sold recently on BST. Say hi to all my friends in East Tennessee.

I had one in super. From the specs they look like they would be floppy, but this is not the case. The brush was very similar to a shavemac silvertip (probably closer to finest) but a tad bit less dense and not as firm, but very close.

A very nice brush that worked well with soaps but really excelled with creams.

The brush I had also never shed a hair, which is impressive.

I sold mine since my brush counter top space was full and it fell out of my rotation.
