Two shaves in one day

I don't usually shave twice in one day, but today was an exception. I usually shave at night but haven't had the time this week and have been doing the morning rush thing.

This morning I was going to skip and get back on night shaves when I remembered I had a meeting scheduled with my boss. So I did a one pass WTG with buffing strokes, perfectly acceptable shave. While at work my boss invites me and my wife out to dinner with KGB, so of course I accepted.

Well I had to shave again. So for the second shave I did the whole hot towel pre-shave prep and only two passes, XTG & ATG. Wow! what a nice feeling.

Until recently I could never get an acceptable result from my 2nd shave but now I have started skipping the ATG pass on the morning shave & I can now get far better results on the evening shave (I only shave twice in a day if I have an evening engagement on a work night).

Well guys, that's all I needed; the technique to shave twice a day. As if I didn't spend enough time shaving once a day, I now learn that I can do it twice a day. And I find this out just when I thought that I had things under control.

I can now use double the number of razors, blades, soaps, creams, techniques and brushes. Just what I needed. :rolleyes:
