Although the posting of the pics is great, if you don't have the time or the inclination, you can also just list the set-up you used for that particular day. If I have time in the morning, I like to browse through the SOTD to get ideas for a particular set-up. Sometimes I see items used that I haven't used in a while and decide its time to give them another go around.

The SOTD is really only for the admiration of JBhoren's and Jlander's impressive razor stashes.

You could also post pics of your kittens with your shave gear.

... and Erick doesn't do too bad either. Other notables of the SOTD who provide SOTD "eye-candy" on a regular basis and to whom we say thanks:

Churchill

giammi
drumana

and a host of others. Thanks for all the effort in posting those great SOTD pics.

I get so many ideas of things and combinations that i want to try. The SOTD has been responsible for at least half my RAD - SSAD - SCAD!

I would thank each and every one, but that is too many, so I post what they inspired.

And Ouch and JBHoren are my heroes!!

+1 (for the other guys).

I love composing/shooting/resizing/selecting which photo of my SOTD setup to post (I normally take 3-15 shots), and then formatting/posting the list and accompanying photo. I find it to be the perfect finish to my shaves.

I was married to my second wife (a professional photographer) for eleven years, and never became even slightly interested in photography. But it took only a few months on B&B before I bought a Canon PowerShot A70 on ebaY, and "the rest is history".

What's more, not only do I post my SOTD here on B&B, but I also post them on my personal website (http://www.horen.org.il/wetshaving.html). It pleases me to share this confluence-of-hobbies with my family and friends.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments... and back atcha!

Smooth shaving!!

Whoa....ummm, just wow. that's some impressive dedication there, my friend. It's somewhat an inconvenience to make the effort to do just one SOTD for me, much less daily, for two different sites. I salute you, sir!

With Jay obviously excluded on the basis of having laser etched scales, we really should have a predetermined Wapi day sometime.

You have a very impressive collection, do you have a picture of it all together?

I try to post a picture every now and then but most of the time I just type the gear I used on a particular day. Since my only digital still camera is my Nokia cell phone ( I only use film cameras), these pictures are of low quality so I wonder if anyone even cares for them :w00t:

Anyway, here's todays SOTD.
