A Spyderco Sharpmaker was just sold because the seller had switched to a Lansky system.
Which do you think is better? I have the Lansky system but was under the impression that Spyderco is better.
Thanks,

Are you talking about for razors or general knife sharpening? I have the lansky diamond system and it great for knives but no good for razors.

For most people, the Spyderco is the better way to go especially if you have the diamond triangles.
The Lansky is more cumbersome, takes longer to set up and a technique that is harder to learn.

I have Lansky, EdgePro, and the SharpMaker. I don't have the patience to fiddle with the Lansky. I can touchup a kitchen knife with the SharpMaker faster than I can assemble the Lansky.
