Hello my new found friends,
3+ weeks ago I had never even held a DE in my hand....3 weeks later I am not only getting BBS shaves,( thanks to all the great advice here) but am the proud owner of 7 DE's. Is this normal?? I see no end in sight!! I truly love this site and look forward to my next acquisition!!!
Thanks to all for introducing me to art of "real" shaving.
Kind Regards,

I am at over 100 and I still look for them. Mind you, not all of them are in my rotation.

I keep buying them...I have 5 now and wet shaving for about 3 weeks. I believe I have all of the shaving related problems (SCAD, SRAD, et al.)
The funniest part is that I still like the first one I got the best. (Grandpa's 47 Gillette Milord)

I have to say my early 50's Gillette super speed gives one heck of a great shave! But in all fairness my Fat Boy won't be here until Monday...so who knows??????

Well it looks like you have joined the ranks of those who believe it is their duty to buy up the current supply and corner the market. When that happens, they will be able to control the prices and perhaps even take over the world. If only Pinky and the Brain could have imagined such a plot.
What you are experiencing is quite normal. After trying several varieties, I have gone back to my good old Super Speeds. I use two of them daily and have no desire to obtain more, although I still look occasionally and will probably buy any Super Speeds that are less than $5 and in good condition, just to make sure I never need to buy one after the above group takes control of the market.

Just wait until you get bored with DEs and decide to give straights a try. Then you're not only finding razors but now you need strops, paddles, pastes, honing stones, stones to flatten your stones, .... It's a slippery slope.
