Does anyone know if Penhaligon's is sold locally in the Boston area? I tried colonial drug and they used to carry it but they dont any more. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Saks once did as well but don't think they do any longer.
Louis Boston has a couple of Penhaligons (literally two) men's fragrances. I picked up Blenheim Bouquet there a couple of months ago but don't remember what the other was. Might have been Quercus. That's the only place I know of in Boston.

That's good to know. If I wind up getting a Penhaligon's fragrance it'll be Blenheim Bouquet. . . as long as they don't hike the price up, I'll get it at Luis Boston.

I'd suggest checking the C.O. Bigelow in Copley Place. I know they carry Trumper's so there might be a better than average chance they have Penny's. What are you looking for in particular? I've got the Blenheim Bouquet shaving cream and I'm not too keen on it. Only used 1x thus far but may try it again. If I can't get into it I'm going to stick it on the B/S/T

Try Levit and Pierce in Harvard square (go out the main exit where all the punks hang out next to the news stand) turn around and walk up the road a block of so, it will be on your right, look for a mermaid over the store front.
At very least I know they have a small amount of wet shaving products (bought my Hen and Rooster there) which I now kick myself for never looking at too closely, not to mention the pipe tobacco and cigars.

The Copley Bigelow's doesn't have Penhaligon's, neither does Neiman Marcus. I was in both Monday.
You could head up to Marblehead (http://www.penhaligons.co.uk/shop/store-locator/usa-canada.html), or book a room at the Harbor. (http://deals.hotels.com/hotels-massachusetts/hotels-boston/boston-harbor-hotel/)

I was in the COB's in Copley earlier this evening and was told by assistant mgr Renee how they will be remodeling the shop to more closely resemble the NYC store as a boutique.
Apparently, they will have more of a lounge/club atmosphere nstead of the clinical apothocary countershop setup they have now.
She mentioned how they will be stocking Penhaligon's and DR Harris items, amongst new additions.

Leavitt & Pierce does not carry Penhaligons. . . I was just in there recently. They do have a decent selection of shave stuff that is worth checking out though. . .
