packages of 100 dorco ST300 and ST301 (same blade, different package) adevertised for $0.99 to bid and $2,99 buy now,

but when you check shipping its $8,99,

so basicly, the blades are cheap, but you get ripped on the shipping,

Well not really. A ten pack of Dorco's retails for $8 so you're getting charged anywhere from 1.99 to 3.99 for shipping. Still a decent deal.

Are you sure it's $8 for a ten pack? I know these are domestic products for me, but I only pay $1 for a ten pack. Possible typo?

10 pack = 100 blades (80 cents a pack of 10 blades, 10 packs)

I suggest you report the auctions to ebay. Not only is this deceptive, it is against ebay policies (the seller ends up paying lower ebay fees).

As to the blades, the manufacturer claims they're the same, but the US distributor says they're different. :rolleyes:

I bought my Dorco's from LetterK (Westcoastshaving). His prices are good, and he is a long standing member of this forum. If the 300's are the same as the 301's (they appear to be), I actually prefer the simple cardboard packaging of the 300's. Less wasteful. 100 individually wrapped blades, 10 to a box, in a cardboard box that measures 4" by 5.5" by 0.5"

I have tried the 300s and 301s and they shave the same for me.

the 301 and 300 are the same blade, except the 300 come in cardboard package and the 301 come in "fancy" plastic,
