Well, the SLANT gave a very close shave. I definately will have to slow down as I can't shave on virtual auto pilot like I do with the Merkur 38C.

I used T&H Lavender Cream on the maiden voyage of my newly acquired Simpson Polo 8 and will rotate it between cream and soap until I break it in. I am going to use the Polo for a week or two and see if it likes the T&H Luxury Soap as well. I plan on keeping it fed with T&H Soap, Lavender Cream, and Ultimate Comfort Cream....and my Simpson Duke 3 can be my dedicated TABAC & Floris Brush.

I really like the MB Diogenes Club... I have found that following it with Penahligon's Castile is a great combo... just with that the Penhaligon's scents had more staying power...

Late shave today. Did my first mountain bike ride after a November ankle fracture and surgery (internal fixation with a plate and six screws...). THAT particular incident was KTM-induced, not MTB. Temps were around 60 -- it felt great to get out!
