What is your real name?
Benjamin Teugels
What are your nicknames/aliases?
Ashe
Where do you live?
Grimbergen, Belgium
What is your age (or) generation?
28
What are you in the real world?
Team leader of a group of network security analysts
What is your favorite shave setup?
Well, I don't have a real setup yet. I At this time I'm using (dont laugh):
- Gillette Mach 3
- Omega boar hair brush
- Gillette gel
- Keramic boil to lather up the Gillette gel with a little bit of hot water instead of doing it on my face directly
- Blue blood gel for after the shave (general face cream)
My next shave setup would approx be:
- Merkur HD
- Vulfix or C&E badger brush
- Proraso shaving cream for sensitive skin
- Trumpers Skin Food
- Don't known which aftershave yet
I'm still further reading on the subject but I want to buy the above proposed setup within the next month or so. Problem is that I will have to order them from the Netherlands or the UK in order to get everything I want. Seems that here in Belgium these things are very hard to find.
What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
I tend to read as much as I can when time permits. Even though my native language is Dutch I prefer reading books in English.
I'm passionate about network security so I try to stay up-to-date as much as I can and this has been the case for at least the past 10 years.
I also go to the gym 3 times per week, staying healthy. :-)
What else should the members of B&B know about you?
I've been googling for improving my shaving quality and ended up on ClassicShaving.com. I was immediately interested in a Merkur DE razor and the whole concept of Wet Shaving. I then continued googling and ended up on Wikipedia which linked to this site for one of their keywords so I started reading this forum. There's a wealth of information on this site so I decided to join up and get more involved in the forums.
