Just got my 2006 B&B Razor / Brush set w/stand. Thanks again John. Sorry no pics, I need a digi cam and some practice.
I got an interesting score today. Two weeks ago while on a razor hunt I stopped in an antique store. A man who the owner knew as a thief came in about the same time. I was asking her about razors, and she asked me for my phone number so she could call me if she found some, she then handed me a note saying that guy was a thief. I followed him around for 20 minutes, making him visably uncomfortable, up and down stairs, where ever he went for 20 minutes. Well, after he left I did give her my number, and today she called saying she had a gift for me as a reward for helping her out. Here it is...

A gem that looks identical to my ever ready with an old ever ready blade, and a Probak. I told her to keep my number because I would be happy to buy the next ones. :001_smile

Alas, it's only a travel size. Everyone suggests the large; I should have listened. >.<

I did the same thing--you will be glad you bought the travel size but wish you'd bought the full tub.
It seems most fellas keep this in mind: "I will buy the smaller size to see if I like the product".
However the more you hang around the more you realize: "It's more cost effective to buy the large tub and if I don't like the product there's always the Buy/Sell/Trade forum!".

The G-town scuttle is their cobalt/purple glaze. Beautiful. :w00t:
The shave stick is Chocolate. :tongue_sm
I got the razor via the BST forum. It's an old, nicely cleaned-up Slim (I think?). Been wanting to try an adjustable. Now I can!

This Gillette set came in today. If I have the Gillette date serial number correct it is a 1906 Model 100 set (Serial #546341) made in Canada it has the "Pat. Mar.7.05" (Canada) on the handle. The interior is almost perfect. The two cardboard blade holders look brand new & the purple velvet looks like new. I got it for under $30 on ebay.

Hmmm...I've never seen one of these before. But this one was NIB, so I scooped it up off ebay for less than a sawbuck excluding shipping.
Anyone else own one? I imagine they're fairly common. Date code is Z which puts this one at 1979 if I am correct.
I believe I bought this off Pauldog.

I keep telling myself that I have ENOUGH......
Visited Caswell Massey Brick & Mortar Store in Tampa's International Plaza today prior to sending my girls back to Hoosierland on Southwest Airlines...
Result: One Tube of Musgo Real Shaving Cream ($9).... ALMOST pulled the trigger on the Aftershave as well ($32)..... but didn't....
At least I now know its only 7 miles away from my condo....
I've never owned a Schick Krona, but I've always wanted one. Scored two on eBay tonight plus a pack of Derby blades for just $5.50 from a seller in Canada. He/she seemed to know their stuff. I wonder if they're a member here. If so, thanks for the chance to shave with a Schick...and another Schick!
