I've been doing some spring cleaning and coming across some shave stuffs that I haven't seen or thought of in about a year. Classicshaving Sandalwood soap DID NOT work for me when I first started wetshaving with a DE razor. . . it irritated my skin and I couldn't get a decent lather.

To my surprise it worked just fine today. I got an ideal lather and found it to be quite slick and protective. The scent is a nice, light and soapy sandalwood. . . Also, it didn't irritate my skin today. Go figure. Where this soap lacks is after the shave it has left my skin feeling dry. . . that might be because I'm used to MWF (my favorite), but. . .

I might have to keep this one lying around. . .

*first shave with the Dorco blade. Not quite as sharp as the Derby Extra I normally use, but with some care and a little blade buffing, I got damn near a BBS. Second shave with the Florena cream and I must say that I am really liking this cream - good lubricity, nice scent. For the $3.79 I paid, its a steal!
