An unused Ansgar's S-Scuttle for sale. Bought this from mama bear to give as a gift to a friend of mine but that plan fell through. I use "Sara's Lather Bowl" and dont need a scuttle. Hence letting it go. Asking $85 shipped CONUS.

Nice pics, but how do you use a scuttle like that?
lather on your face, leave the brush in the small spout with warm water in the big area???

Very nice pics!

I immerse the scuttle in a sink full of hot water while showering, and put an electric kettle on to boil. After the shower, I fill the warmed scuttle all or partially with the boiling water, according to taste, based on the creme or soap I'm using that day.

I build lather in the scuttle with my brush, and leave it there between passes.

The bubble on the side is a source of additional hot water when rejuvenating lather between passes.

This SOUNDS like it takes a lot of time, but in fact it takes seconds.

Works for me. Best addition to my hardware, next to my brush and razor.

Paul

P.S. Mine is not for sale!

Now that is slick.....and all this time I've been wasting my money on razors......well not completely wasting, lol, but I wish I had a few more bucks in the face cutter budget, and thanks for the link.

I've had one since they became available and use it everyday. A bit expensive, but works very well. I fill it with hot water to preheat while in the shower, then drain and refill before the shave.
