A bit of a cooling trend but still on the hot side...

BBQ'd some chicken and Artichokes with a Vinaigrette...accompanied by a nice salad.

After dinner I enjoyed a 22 oz. bottle of Firestone Brewery's Walker's Reserve (http://www.firestonewalker.com/sections/firestonebeers/firestone_beers.html) and an Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente.

It's a nice night north of the gate tonight. Much welcomed change compared to the 105+ over the past few days.

I can imagine...I am down on the peninsula so we usually run 10 degrees cooler then you do...although last saturday it got to 111. After 105 does it really matter???? Could be worse, did you see the people in San Jose that have been camping outside of their houses because they have been without electricity for a week?

Tonight my wife made some of her fantastic bruschetta crepes. Washed it down with a 2001 Columbia Crest Grand Estate Zin that we bought last time up there. Finished the evening with some Zheng Shan Lapsang Souchong (thanks QEDtea).

Last night I enjoyed a Romeo Y Julieta Romeos No. 2 (http://www.cigars-review.org/Romeo-y-Julieta-Romeos-No-2-de-Luxe.htm) de Luxe while relaxing on the deck at SWMBOs parents's place. I just love these little beauties...
