Gentlemen ,

May I have your attention.

I would be interested to know how do you like your Injector next to or besides the DE/Straight.

I have some poll questions which Id be interested to see how our members act upon the Injector I know the Campus deal aint released yet but this poll will still be there for those who have no injector experience like myself.

- What kind of injector blades you prefer ?

- Do you solely shave with an injector and nothing else.
- For the sake of variation you load up the injector but you find its shave of a lesser quality then a DE or Straight.
- I have no injector experience but will have some after the campus deal.
- I find the schick injector blades the best.
- I find the Personna 20 blades deal the best.
- I find the dogs’bollock’s work for me the best.

Thank you again for your votes.

Hi Rene,
I've posted on this a number of times lately, for me there is no comparison between an SE/ Injector and a DE. A lot of my problems with DE's are down to my inability to consistently find the optimum angle, but even with this in mind it still means that the SE's are more user friendly. I have no experience with straight (yet) but SE's and Injector's are better than a Double Edge .
As for blades, I prefer a clipped down Feather Pro Guard in my Injector and the Dog's B******'s blades in my GEM razor's. Like DE's, there are rules for using single edge shaver's, you need to keep the head flat on your face, but once you know this they are very easy to shave with and give superior shaves to a DE. The blades last longer and are more comfortable in my experience. Like I have said many times before, I find that using these types of razor also has a benficial effect on my DE form. I still use DE's, I refuse to be beaten by the stubborn little *******'s, but if I had to choose I would stay with an Injector and Feather blade combo.
At the moment I have a 1937 Bakelite Schick, with a Long Handled "Black Rider" and a Gear Shift model on their way. I also have three Micromatic's.
I am very keen to try a PAL Injector, this has generated some discussion on SMF at the moment, and at the very least I would imagine it would offer an interesting experience.

I use the Schick Adjustable and have been getting the best shaves of my life. That razor paired with either a Schick SE or TE blade has been the answer to my shaving woes. When it comes time to swap blades Sunday I'm going to give one of my PAL Adjustables a whirl and see how that does.

I have a long handle injector from the 70's that I bought NIB and a couple of old bakelite dogs, but I really, really, really can't wait until next week!:tongue_sm
