This is the last piece I need to round out my Rocket collection.
Please PM me if you are interested in letting one go and you can be sure it will go to someone who appreciates it.
Thanks,

Hey good luck with finding one. It took me months. Worth the wait though, great shave. If you do land one please post a photo when you do.

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't expect to find one quickly but sometimes lady luck smiles on us.
Yesterday I just happened to do a Google search and found a British Rocket HD500 for sale on eBay Germany, I believe it's mr-razor who I had the pleasure of dealing with. I'll post a picture when it arrives.:001_smile

I've still had no luck.
I'm sure one is sitting around, neglected, and gathering dust.

Cheers,
Posting a WTB is fine but thinking one of these rare beauties sitting around neglected, and gathering dust is wishful thinking. Best of luck.

+1 but ask the seller for additional pictures of the razor.

I picked one up from a forum member in Australia awhile back. It weighs the same as my USA red tip @ 2.4oz. There is a slight difference in the handle as you can see in the photo. The British version on the right. I don't know if it is psychological or what but it shaves better.

Nice Rocket Jimmy! That's a beauty. :w00t: I liked the shave on mine as well, must be psychological. :001_smile

Gee whiz !! The TV Rocket ? You mean there is yet another variant Gillette TV razor & case I have to lust after ? My '54 & '58 TVs NEED a TV Rocket to keep them company. So this is a British TV I assume ? I don't recall hearing about this one. Besides being great shaving instruments sure keeps things interesting for the collectors.

Thanks Slant-fan and merwtje.
I received the pictures from the fellow on the 'bay. It is stamped "made in England" but it has the same handle as the one on the left in your picture. Which is the US made Super Speed. You can see that plainly in the photo on the 'bay
It's curious.
Any thoughts?

Yep always something to acquire. Don't forget the Blue Tip Rocket which I need as well.
