it's been months but this morning I went with the Pinaud Clubman aftershave. MBW reacts pretty strongly to this and other aftershaves and EDTs so I have to be judicious. GOOOD burn and face feels great. I gotta break it out more often.

+1 When I'm in a massochistic mood I use this. I've found it's a bit too strongly scented as of late though.

Burn! On my cheeks!
Burn! On my chin!
Burn! On my neck!
We don't care!
We like it there!

What is the difference in Pinaud and the Boosters? PErcentage of alcohol?

Has anyone found the Taylors Sandalwood AS to have much burn to it? It certainly does for me. I haven't tried PC Bay Rum yet, but out of my Aqua Velva Ice Blue, AV Musk, and Pinaud Clubman, the Taylor's by far lights me up the most.

Gotta love Pinaud's Bay Rum. Now, if only we could double the burn... we'd have a new super-fuel!

Booster has much less alocohol IMO, much more mild

I haven't tried the AV musk, but the other ones mentioned, for me, are about the same as TOBS Sandalwood for burn.

Are Pinaud scents available locally, say Walgreens or something? Do the scents linger or fade quickly, like Coral Skin Food?

With all due respect Sam, I don't think you can compare Pinaud aftershaves to Coral Skin Food in any aspect. The scents from the aftershaves will last much longer than the scent from the Skin Food, but the Skin Food isn't meant to have a lasting scent.

I've always picked up my Clubman products online at Classicshaving.com, but I'm sure there are lots of other options. I've never come across it in any of my local stores, but I don't really go out shopping too often either. I buy nearly all of my shaving gear on the Internest.

Walgreens has been known to carry a few Pinaud products, hairgels, styptic pencils, etc, although the only Pinaud AS I've seen them carry is the regular Clubman.

I agree... if you like burn, and enjoy the fragrance of bay rum, Pinaud Bay Rum is right up your alley! In my experience, the burn from the Pinaud Bay Rum is notably more intense that Pinaud Clubman.

Wait until closer to Summer to use it, Brian... It'll melt the ice roads!

I have found that normally, alcohol AS splashes don't burn me...they just feel refreshing.

I got both Clubman Pinaud and Bay Rum locally. I don't remember if it was CVS or Walgreen's but I think they both carry them. i don't really dig the burn all that much, though, and prefer using something else.
