Many thanks for the warm welcome. I've been posting on SMF for several months, but very much enjoy the atmosphere here at B&B...

Replies:

Marty - Trumpers Lime always makes me want a Gin&Tonic, which is why I only shave with it on the weekend. Fortunately their Sandalwood does not make me want to consume a Sandal.

John- Yes, Tanqueray Gin is excellent. I however prefer a cheaper brand: Gordon's. Has a stronger Gin flavour, and is cheaper-- saving money for future shave products.

Tito- Tripe, a reminder of how to regard 99% of what I write here.

Mantic- Sorry, no mention of Ham radio. I rarely have a chance to get on a repeater anymore-- all those kids. I do enjoy listening to the local Misery & Mayhem on the police scanner, though. 73 to you sir.

DJ- G&Ts are good all year long. It is a myth that they are for warm weather only. I find them delicious even when its cool out, like 7:00 AM.

Jim- Yes, 5 children so far. My wife is 10 years younger than I, so she still has a lot of production capacity to be utilized. As for time for shaving, I have taught the children that Dad's shaving interval is sacrosanct and may not be violated. Actually, the girls like to watch, and I put Coral Skin food on their faces. They have completely taken over my Thayer's Rose, calling it their perfume.

Josh- Good call! Chesterton, Belloc, Knox, Waugh. I have an old fashioned slant that way...

Austin- You get around a lot; I've seen your posts on SMF, too. Do you work, or are you like me, spending all your time talking with strangers online about your bathroom habits...

John- Since you quote Barry, I'll reciprocate: "Extremism is the cause of shaving is no vice!" (or something like that)
