I posted yesterday in the General forum that I'm going to stop my obsession with DE shaving since I've found what works for me. Since this site has been so helpful for me I'll give back a little to everyone. I've already given away most of my collection in real life but here's what's left.

All of the below items are completely free of charge (including shipping). I just ask that if you request something, you be new to wetshaving and lacking in funds. Also due to shipping costs you need to be in Canada or the CONUS.

1. Gillette Fatboy in case. I bought this in December and honestly never even used it yet. It looks really nice though and seems to be in excellent condition.

2. Gillette 1940s Superspeed. I used it for a while and prefer the Merkur Classic. It's in very good condition with only slight oxidation on the handle.

3. Kent Soap in Wooden Dish. This is the same soap as Mitchell's Wool Fat (MWF). I used it about 20x and could never get it to lather all that well. But it seems to be well regarded on this board and it always left my face well conditioned.

4. Florena Shaving Cream. Two 100ml tubes. This is an excellent shaving cream that is available in every Canadian supermarket but not in the US. Honestly I feel it's almost as nice as Proraso except for the lack of menthol.

Again I just ask that you be a DE shaving newbie who is low on expendable income. Also please limit yourselves to 1-2 items. To claim this just post a reply and I will message you tomorrow. All items will be shipped on Wednesday from Canada.

wonderful, thoughtful and generous offer that you have put forth to the members of this forum. Between your offer and Jay's, this place is a special community. I'm not a newbie but your collective offers will certainly be appreciated by someone. Great work guys.
Evan.

Hello Adrox-

Well, I'm about as newbie as it gets, since I've only done the wetshaving thing once and that was yesterday. I'd like to try a SuperSpeed since lots of people on these boards say they're pretty gentle. I started with a Merkur HD after reading reviews here and it seems pretty tough to me. However, that's after only one try, so maybe it's my technique...

As far as funds go, my wife is already looking at me sideways about this new obsession. :001_rolle

Anyways, thanks for the generous offer. Everybody on these boards seems to really want to help newcomers.

Hey there

A real newbie here. I would love to take you up on your offer of the FatBoy. I have the grand total of no equipment but great enthusiasm since finding out about this movement last week.

I'm located in Canada as per your criteria.

Thanks for the kindness

chris

I'd love to try one of the tubes of Florena cream. I am a father of 2 in MIchigan, paying for my wife to go through college, so cash is tight here. Plus she's put me on a cash tether, now that I've started this DE shaving! I'll send a PM also. Looking forward to it. Dan.

I would love to try one of the Gillettes or the Kent soap. I have been eyeing the MWF/Kent and trying to find a razor that fits my face better... My wife has an embargo on shave gear, a common occurance I am told, but I have been wetshaving since early Janurary so I am not as new as some, but I do still suck at it haha...

I've really been looking into trying the Kent/MWF soap. I'm only 17 making minimum wage so its been kinda hard for me to justify buying this at the moment. Would love to take you up on the offer.

I'd like to try one of the Florena creams. I started DE shaving just over a week ago and want to try out a cream. Thanks for the generosity, this forum, compared to others, has the most awesome members.

What I nice gesture. I would love to try a superspeed, I hear they are very mild and would be great for sensitive skin. I am 19 years old been DE shaving for just over a month now with up and down shaves. I am on a student budget so as you may expect money is tight.:blushing:

Cheers

It seems that all has been claimed. If you would like to consider me anyways, that would be cool. I would love the super speed as I hear good things. I just got into DE shaving this week and have not really any budget. 22 and a dishwasher, just me and my wife. Thanks for the consideration.

Everything has been claimed. In cases where more than one person requested something I'll do a random draw.

I'm working the entire weekend so PMs to the winners should go out this evening.
