For some reason the ability to pick favorite smilies has disappeared from the message form.

Is this just an attempt to frustrate me or is there a less devious (tho unlikely) reason?

Are you clicking on "post reply" or simply using the quick reply form which does not have the smilies :biggrin:

Post reply. Used to have te ability to pick favorites and not have to open the entire collection. Now I have about 12 with some in the list twice and not way I can find to change them. :frown:

Yes you are obviously correct, I forgot about that function as I never used it but I have the same thing now you are describing, I am guessing it went the way of a site change somehow, I wouldn't know for sure maybe PM a moderator.

I'm bumping this thread....why you ask?

A) I'm in a "bumpy" mood...dealing with computer viruses late last night, and starting again early this morning, I need something to take a break for a moment

2) I like have my favorite smilies

D) Now that the server has been updated/upgraded, perhaps the option can/is available again?

I realized that I may have misread the intent of the original question. So, to cover all bases:

a) my previously selected fav smileys carried over from the upgrade and are in the usual place.

b) the option to select new favorite smileys seems to be MIA

AFAIK the favorite smilies problem is an issue with a vbulletin plugin.
