Ok, forgive me if I have not found it, but why is there not a review section for vendors.

I think a vendor section with two categories:

Online
Brick and Morter

Rating scales could be:

- Satisfaction with transaction
- Speed of deliver (if online)
- Customer service
- Product selection
- Prices
etc.

Because of the 'RESISTANCE IS FUTILE' method of acquiring shaving supplies, we tend to trumpet either the greatness of vendors and their response to our purchases or the fact that no one should spend any money with them ever again.

If you have an idea of what you want(or no idea, but want to spend ), just ask and you will be pointed in the right direction.

I can think of one problem off the top of my head, speed of delivery. Some people define speed of delivery as how long it takes to receive the product from when they bought it, some (myself included) define it as the time between placing the order and when it was shipped. I've heard people complain it took a month to receive something that was shipped the day after the order was placed and they still blamed the vendor.

Anyway, the good vendors get mentioned throughout the forums as it is, and I guess I just don't see it as necessary. You or anyone else is welcome to disagree, I just wanted to throw my $0.02CAD (0.0201348USD) into the pot.

It would also be hard to keep up such a list. Even though I believe there used to be a list of the online vendors on the front page.

But companies come and go (brick/mortar and online), or they'll stop carrying a line and carry something new. Heck, even Amazon can be hit and miss with products.

And, OOPS!, there is one: B&B's sticky of B&M shaving stores. (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=242) But the thread for the SF Bay Area hasn't been updated since 2006. Maybe some of the other locales are more current.
